Trollforsen

Trollforsen is a beautiful rapids section that also forms Trollholmen as the rapids split. The islet is barely four kilometers long and at most 700 meters wide. On both sides, Trollholmen is surrounded by rushing rapids. The southern arm has in several places deeply cut down and formed ravines. A series of rapids and falls here forms a mighty stepped fall. The forests on both sides of the river are old, here there are, among other things, 4-500 year-old pines.
