Arvidsjaur has a wide range of activities, attractions, and excursions. So whether you stay a long time or just a few hours, there are activities to choose from. Perhaps an excursion to Lillberget (there’s a great chance to see the Northern Lights when it’s the season for it) or a visit to Lappstaden. If you have a bit more time, there are the Vittjåkk mountains and more peaks to visit. If you want something more thrilling, there are snowmobile tours or more leisurely dog sled tours. Fishing is almost a year-round activity, and Arvidsjaur has lakes and watercourses for all types of fishing.

When the snow has settled, the darkness has crept in, and the cold has arrived, that’s when snowmobile season begins. The highlight of winter with extensive snowmobile trails and powder riding. Long days and early mornings, coffee over an open fire.
But it only gets that wonderful if we all help out. If we all do our part and ensure that we have the funds to keep the trails safe and groomed, that we don’t ride snowmobiles on plantations, and that we consider wildlife.
